This is VIJEV. We live in a world that can be perilous to our existence but nothing comes close to the monsters that lurks within us. They torture, condemn, and steer us away from the path leading to the fullness of the human experience. The monster that is your mind.
What exactly is the mind? Does it exist to merely help you breathe and live? Does it exist to help you navigate life at all? Why would it want to destroy us and not help us to do more than just survive? Why do we harm ourselves and the people around us due to the thoughts we conjure? What experiences do we have that take us down such a dark path? Hatred, bitterness, rejection, and bigotry are all too prevalent in our memories of the past. Why do we behave in this way, and how do we let it influence how we live? Our negative attitudes are ascribed to how we respond to these experiences, which only serves to amplify them as we act out our unhealthy sentiments and spread our negative attitudes to other people, especially those we care about. The ones that remained to care for you and indeed attempted to help you are the ones you hurt. You would rather push the people you love away in case they may hurt you in future.
Negativity is an energy that can override the positive as your mind latches on it faster than the good that you have experienced. It's a perpetual cycle that expands and spreads faster than any virus infecting the mind and eventually those around you. The grudge is the one that will keep you from truly understanding and appreciating the people who have helped you over the years.
You would rather push the people you love away in case they may hurt you in future.
The universe is a wonderful place, but it doesn't mean that we are not capable of understanding and appreciating all of its wonders. You can't stop your grudge if it's not there to start with. Our lives are filled with the shame of the past and the anxiety of the future, gliding through time without realizing what lies in front of us. Objective reality is all around us. The existence of the universe, the existence of gravity, and the sensation of wind in your hair are all due to this. However, objective reality is meaningless if our personal reality is incapable of engaging with it positively. The shared reality, or our personality reality, is how we view and engage with this world. We actually have and always will have this, and only this. Why do we taint it with memories of the past and an unknown future that doesn't even exist?
Do you regard yourself as a monster, or are we just experiencing the negative effects of our own minds? What will enable you to overcome your pitiful view of yourself and let go of the sickness? The sickness is your overthinking, overexerted, fearful, resentful, burnt-out mind.
The sickness is your overthinking, overexerted, fearful, resentful, burnt-out mind.
However, your mind is just software. It’s not a permanent scar. Just like your wounds, they can also heal. It needs to be cleaned, rebooted, and reorganized. It is all possible in many ways enlightened humans have discovered and shared with us throughout the centuries. It begins with a single step. Awareness. Do you know that you are destructive to yourself and to others? Acknowledge where you are, comprehend who you are, and then you will give yourself an opportunity to determine why.
Forgive yourself.
Forgive the past.
Let go of the illusion of control.
Let go of the uncertain, non-existent future.
Live in the present.
The healing process will then begin. People who care for you exist. Acknowledge and appreciate them as well. Your monster will subside and become your knight of fortified blissfulness and consciousness. A knight that reflects the true creation of the universe itself. YOU.
